About the Role
The Claims Paralegal provides essential support to the Project Management team, assisting with project execution, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring accurate, high-quality deliverables. This role demands strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Professional fluency in English and French is mandatory for effective communication with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support claims management and processing, including reviewing and resolving inquiries and process issues.
Provide legal support as needed.
Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project tasks, including organizing meetings, tracking deadlines, and preparing client updates.
Coordinate with internal departments such as Claims Operations and other cross-functional teams.
Conduct data review and analysis to support accurate reporting.
Maintain organized project documentation.
Contribute to quality assurance (QA) activities for high-quality deliverables.
Communicate professionally in English and French with clients and team members.
Uphold strong professional etiquette and attention to detail.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational needs.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field
Active paralegal license with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO)
3–5 years of experience in claims management or related roles
Professional fluency in English and French (oral and written)
Reside in Ontario, Canada
Required Skills & Competencies
Drafting and reviewing documents in both English and French
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with project management tools
Experience using DocuSign
Ability to work from home

Compensation & Benefits
Hourly pay equivalent to CAD $50,960 – $58,800 annually
Discretionary bonus based on background and performance
