Job Description

Corel is seeking an Intermediate or Senior C++ Software Developer to join the team behind CorelDRAW, a leading vector illustration and graphics suite. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to innovative creative software tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and develop new features for CorelDRAW

  • Participate in scrum meetings to plan and implement features

  • Peer-review code to ensure high quality

  • Develop, deploy, and debug secure cloud-based applications

  • Implement best practices for cloud application support

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software, pipeline, and infrastructure issues with automation in mind

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with modern C++ (C++17/20/23)

  • Strong understanding of real-world C++ development, maintainable code, and large codebases

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field

  • Creative, innovative, and passionate about software development

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Web Assembly (WASM) and Emscripten

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS

  • Knowledge of agile development practices

  • Experience with web-based design applications
