Position Overview

Digilancer is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented HR & Compliance Manager to oversee human resources policies, employment compliance, and regulatory adherence across all recruitment and employment activities. This role ensures that Digilancer Recruit operates within all applicable labor laws, employment regulations, and ethical hiring standards across different regions and markets.

The HR & Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing and enforcing HR policies, managing employment contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the organization in maintaining fair and lawful employment practices. This role plays a critical part in protecting the company from legal risks while maintaining a positive, compliant, and professional work environment.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in HR governance, labor law compliance, contract management, and organizational policy development.


Key Responsibilities

HR Policy Development & Implementation

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with legal requirements and organizational objectives.

  • Establish clear guidelines related to recruitment, employee conduct, workplace policies, and employment practices.

  • Ensure HR policies are regularly updated to reflect changes in employment laws and organizational needs.

  • Communicate policies effectively to employees and management.


Legal & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and workplace policies across all operational regions.

  • Monitor local and international employment regulations that impact recruitment and workforce management.

  • Ensure the company adheres to legal requirements related to hiring practices, employee rights, and workplace safety.

  • Work closely with legal advisors when necessary to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.


Employment Contracts & Documentation

  • Draft, review, and manage employment contracts, offer letters, and contractor agreements.

  • Ensure all employee documentation is accurate, compliant, and properly maintained.

  • Maintain secure records of employee contracts, HR documentation, and compliance reports.

  • Oversee onboarding documentation and employment verification processes.


Recruitment Compliance & Ethical Hiring

  • Ensure recruitment practices align with fair hiring standards and anti-discrimination regulations.

  • Implement guidelines that promote transparency and fairness in the hiring process.

  • Monitor recruitment procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws.

  • Support recruiters and hiring managers in maintaining ethical hiring practices.


Risk Management & Internal Audits

  • Identify potential compliance risks within HR operations and recruitment activities.

  • Conduct internal audits of HR processes and documentation.

  • Develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent legal and regulatory violations.

  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation to support compliance.


Employee Relations & Workplace Governance

  • Support management in addressing employee relations issues and workplace concerns.

  • Provide guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and HR investigations.

  • Promote a fair and respectful workplace environment.

  • Ensure employee rights and workplace policies are consistently enforced.


Training & Awareness

  • Develop training programs for employees and management on HR policies and compliance requirements.

  • Educate recruitment teams on employment law, hiring regulations, and ethical recruitment practices.

  • Ensure staff are aware of workplace policies, compliance standards, and legal obligations.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Compliance with employment laws and regulatory requirements

  • Accuracy and completeness of employment documentation

  • Effectiveness of HR policies and procedures

  • Reduction of compliance risks and legal exposure

  • Employee awareness and adherence to HR policies

  • Timely resolution of HR and compliance issues


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in HR management, compliance, or labor law administration.

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR governance, and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience managing employment contracts and HR documentation.

  • Experience working in organizations with multi-regional or international workforce structures is preferred.
