Role Overview

Kobalt Security Inc. is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to join its cybersecurity team during its next growth phase. This role serves as a key link between clients and Kobalt.io, ensuring program delivery is timely, budget-conscious, and focused on long-term client success. The position involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and client teams to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Manage a diverse portfolio of information security programs, ensuring clear and updated plans for all clients.

  • Customer Onboarding: Lead full client onboarding, including risk register creation and a 1-year strategic roadmap.

  • Service Excellence & NPS: Maintain a client NPS score of 8.67+ by delivering exceptional service and collaborating with Customer Success Managers.

  • Client Communication: Serve as primary contact, providing transparent progress reports and milestone updates.

  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Ensure all program decisions and changes are documented for consistency and clarity.

  • Process Improvement: Enhance delivery team processes to maximize service quality and value.

  • Financial & Resource Management: Oversee program budgets and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and profitability.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead subject matter experts (SMEs) and provide constructive feedback to drive successful outcomes.

  • Risk & Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage roadblocks to ensure programs meet objectives.

  • Business Development: Identify upselling opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to support growth.


Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years of B2B client-facing experience managing technology or business change projects/programs.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.

  • Proven experience engaging with customer executives and understanding strategic business needs.

  • Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., monday.com) and familiarity with compliance tools (e.g., Vanta).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities; detail-oriented and proactive.


Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Program/Project Management certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or PgMP.

  • Hands-on experience with Compliance and Trust products.

  • Prior experience in Information Security or Information Technology sectors.

  • Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management frameworks, and industry standards.
