Job Overview

IRIS Software Group is hiring a Business Intelligence / Data Analyst to support ABIOS, its internal data platform. This platform underpins daily operations, reporting, and billing, supporting ~£500k of monthly revenue.

The role suits someone who enjoys SQL, data analysis in a business context, and solving practical problems rather than isolated technical tasks. You’ll work with a small Data Science team, supporting the platform and developing new tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL queries, datasets, and internal reporting tools.

• Prepare and extract data for reports used by Finance, Sales, and Operations.

• Investigate and resolve data quality issues.

• Test new features and document solutions for internal users.

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with SQL and data manipulation in a business environment.

• Strong Excel / Microsoft 365 skills.

• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to explain technical information clearly.

Desirable (Not mandatory):

• Experience with Postgres/MySQL, C# .NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.

• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud.

• Agile or Waterfall development experience.
