About the Role

As a Commercial Account Executive, you will bring IoT solutions to small and medium-sized customers, building Samsara’s business while helping clients unlock value from sensor data.

Deal Size: $5K – $20K
Sales Process: Includes proof-of-concepts, multi-stakeholder negotiations, and pricing discussions

Responsibilities

  • Own customer engagements end-to-end (prospecting → qualification → closing)

  • Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and handle inbound leads

  • Target accounts with 11–30 vehicles

  • Manage transactional sales processes with high-volume demands

Minimum Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a closing sales role

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven record of quota achievement

  • Experience in commercial sales (small to medium deal sizes)

  • High-volume cold calling experience

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, transactional sales

  • Growth mindset and collaborative attitude

  • Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC)
