Role Overview
The Junior Technical Account Manager (JTAM) builds foundational knowledge of Red Hat’s products and support processes, contributing to customer satisfaction by:
Resolving basic technical challenges
Understanding customer environments
Following standard procedures under supervision
Program:
Participate in the FASTER Program (Field Accelerator for Sales and Technical Emerging Roles), a 12-month onboarding and development program starting September 2026
Hands-on training in Red Hat portfolio: Cloud, Automation, AI
Mentor support and cohort-based learning
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries and follow established procedures
Document customer interactions and track issue resolution
Escalate complex issues to senior team members
Participate in internal training programs and onboarding tasks
Contribute to knowledge base and support documentation
Support Sales in delivering enterprise IT solutions based on Red Hat platforms
Candidate Requirements
Passion for open source and emerging technologies
Technical skills in computer science, IT, AI, or related fields (via university, bootcamps, certificates, or military experience)
Basic troubleshooting, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Understanding of network communication and configuration fundamentals
Motivation for self-directed learning
Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills
Some exposure to scripting (Python, Bash) or programming (Java, Go) is a plus
Australian government security clearance is required
