Techception is part of Equinox Holdings, a digital solutions company building scalable platforms across multiple industries including recruitment, marketplaces, business directories, and CRM systems.
We are preparing to launch Techception as a powerful SaaS platform and are seeking a founding Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will play a critical role in building, launching, and scaling the company from the ground up.
Role Overview
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a key member of Techception’s founding leadership team and will work closely with the CEO to transform the company’s vision into a fully operational and scalable SaaS business.
This role is ideal for a highly driven leader who thrives in startup environments and has the ability to build systems, teams, and operational frameworks that support rapid growth. The COO will be responsible for launching the platform, establishing operational structures, building teams, and driving the company toward long-term scale and profitability.
The ideal candidate is a builder, operator, and strategic thinker who is comfortable taking ownership of the day-to-day operations of a growing SaaS company.
Key Responsibilities
Company Launch & Operational Setup
Lead the operational launch of the Techception SaaS platform.
Build the internal structure, processes, and workflows required to operate and scale the business.
Establish operational systems across product, marketing, sales, and customer success.
Business Strategy & Execution
Work closely with the CEO to execute the company’s strategic vision.
Translate high-level business goals into actionable operational plans.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure growth and operational success.
Team Building & Leadership
Recruit, build, and manage core teams including product, marketing, sales, support, and operations.
Create a strong organizational culture focused on performance, accountability, and innovation.
Mentor and develop leadership within the organization.
SaaS Growth & Revenue Operations
Oversee SaaS business operations including sales pipelines, onboarding, customer success, and retention.
Implement scalable revenue operations and customer acquisition strategies.
Work closely with marketing and sales teams to optimize customer growth.
Systems & Process Optimization
Implement scalable processes, tools, and automation to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure cross-department collaboration and effective communication across teams.
Investor & Growth Strategy
Assist in preparing Techception for capital raising and strategic partnerships.
Contribute to financial planning, growth projections, and expansion strategies.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in SaaS, technology startups, or high-growth companies.
Proven experience building or scaling a technology platform or SaaS company.
Strong understanding of startup operations, SaaS business models, and growth strategies.
Demonstrated ability to build teams and operational systems from the ground up.
Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
